Students are invited to attend a “Lawyers on Location” luncheon at the Allegheny County Bar Association headquarters on Friday, September 5, from 12:30-2:00 pm. Our host, James Creenan (’96), ACBA President, along with Jeanine L. DeBor, Esq., Director, Law Alumni Relations and Development, Duquesne University School of Law will be there to discuss the benefits of student membership in the ACBA. Membership in the ACBA is $30 per year for students and one of the best investments you can make in terms of becoming an integral part of the local legal community (http://www.acba.org/acba/pdf/LawStudentApp2014.pdf). This event is open to all students, and we encourage you to take advantage of this unique networking opportunity.
This Lawyers on Location is part of a continuing series developed by the CSO whereby students are invited to visit various workplaces to see the law in practice. Lunch will be provided and formal business dress is required.
Space is limited to the first 20 students who RSVP via DuqLawConnect (under the “Events” tab).
You will be contacted by the CSO with final details regarding the event when all RSVPs have been received.
Please note that your RSVP conveys that you are making a commitment to attend this event.
The CSO will be holding many more of these events this year, so if you are not able to secure a spot for this program, know that there will be more scheduled. FedEx Ground, Thomson, Rhodes and Cowie and others are on our schedule for this fall, so watch for details. We appreciate your interest!
