KidsVoice has revamped its Legal Externship program and has opportunities for Duquesne Law students to participate starting in the Spring 2015 term (January). KidsVoice attorneys will tell students about this unique externship opportunity which allows students to serve as advocates for at-risk children each year.
Students must be able to be certified to practice by the Spring 2015 semester (meaning that they have completed Evidence by then). (Any student interested in learning more about this opportunity may attend the information session though.) Students must be able to commit 2 semesters’ worth of work (summers count towards this requirement). More information about the requirements and the application process is attached. This information will be discussed at the program. Applications for the Spring 2015 Semester are due November 1, with interviews occurring later in November.
Lunch provided. Please RSVP via DuqLawConnect – Events tab.
