Thursday, January 8 * 12:00-1:00 p.m. * Room 301
The Schweitzer Fellowship Program focuses on health and social service needs of underserved and vulnerable populations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. Fellows design a direct service project that they implement through a community agency for a few hours a week while they remain in school. The program director will describe the program and the application process. Maggie McGannon (2L) currently serves as a Schweitzer Fellow, and she’ll be telling students about her project working with inmates at the Allegheny County Jail. Stephanie Johnson (L’12) also served as a Fellow, and you can read about her project here.
Lunch provided. Please RSVP via DuqLawConnect – Events tab.
