Upcoming Bar Association Events Open To Law Students

Environmental & Energy Law Section, PA Bar Association
Conference Attendance Scholarship – Applications Due Monday, February 16

The Environmental & Energy Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association sponsors scholarships for two students from each of Pennsylvania’s eight law schools to attend the annual Environmental Law Forum in Harrisburg to be held on April 8 and 9, 2015. This is a unique opportunity for students to learn more about environmental law and, perhaps more importantly, interact and network with 250+ practicing attorneys. The Environmental Law Forum is the premiere continuing legal education program for environmental practitioners in Pennsylvania, and the Environmental & Energy Law Section is proud to highlight the student scholarship attendees throughout the program. More information.

Students may apply for a scholarship by sending their resume and a short essay (250 words maximum) detailing what they hope to get out of attending the Environmental Law Forum. Resumes and essays should be emailed directly to Andrew T. Bockis, Esq., Saul Ewing LLP, 2 N. Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101 by February 16, 2015. Mr. Bockis’ email address is abockis@saul.com. (I will review your materials prior to 2/16 if you would like to forward them to Maria Comas at comas@duq.edu.)
