The Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section Diversity Initiative invites all Duquesne Law students to “ALL in the Family: Building an Inclusive Family Law Practice and Section” to be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Rivers Club (One Oxford Centre, 301 Grant Street, Suite 411, Downtown).
The Diversity Initiative was formed with the specific goal of identifying and assisting diverse attorneys and law students who have an interest in practicing Family Law.
The Honorable Kim Berkeley Clark, Administrative Judge of the Family Division, will offer a keynote speech followed by breakout sessions with family law practitioners and section members. Attorneys and students alike can learn more about the benefits of building a family law practice and how section membership can afford opportunities to cultivate professional relationships, as well as keep you abreast of the latest changes in Family Court and practice. This is a wonderful opportunity for law students to gain an introduction into the practice of family law and build mentoring relationships.
There is no charge for the event and includes hors d’oeuvres and one drink ticket. You do not have to be a Student Member of the ACBA in order to attend, but RSVP’s are required as space is limited. Register at www.acba.org. Please inform Maria Comas (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you plan to attend.
