Federal Bar Association Speed Networking & Happy Hour

Emilia Rinaldi (L’15), associate at K&L Gates LLP, and steering committee member for the Western District of PA Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, has extended an invitation to Duquesne Law students to attend an upcoming speed networking event followed by a happy hour that is being hosting on February 23 from 4-7:30PM at the Federal Courthouse and August Henry’s Saloon downtown.  It is a cash bar with complimentary heavy appetizers.  This is a wonderful chance to network with members of the FBA.  Dress is interview attire.

Please note that you do not need to be a member to attend the event, but the FBA will have forms available for anyone who is interested in becoming a student member.

Student Volunteers Needed

Women’s Bar Association Susan B. Anthony Award Reception
Tuesday, February 21, 2017
Omni William Penn Hotel – Ballroom
4:45 – 7:00 p.m.

The WBA welcomes student volunteers at the 2017 Susan B. Anthony Award Reception honoring Justice Debra Todd, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.  Nearly 200 lawyers and judges attend this event every year.

Students who volunteer will work at the registration desk and otherwise welcome guests in the ballroom.  Volunteers are needed starting at 4:30 p.m.; students who need to leave early or arrive late are welcome (but please let me know).  Volunteers receive a free one-year membership to the WBA.

Professional attire.
