Local Government Case Competition – Registration Due 10/29

Registration for the 8th annual Local Government Case Competition is open until October 29! We are looking for graduate students from Pittsburgh area schools to participate in this competition.

The Local Government Case Competition, sponsored by the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, is an annual competition that engages graduate students from local universities to identify creative solutions to difficult social problems. Competing teams work under pressure to solve a real problem, using simulated business conditions such as time-critical deadlines and incomplete information to formulate action-oriented recommendations. It is an opportunity to work with peers from different schools, network with local public and nonprofit leaders, and win cash prizes!

Students can register by submitting their resume to marina.duane@alleghenycounty.us.

Registration deadline: October 29, 2014.

Case Competition dates: November 12-15, 2014.
